Focus: WHAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD TRULY MEAN?

Ref: For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.(Romans 14:17)

" come out from among them and be ye separated and I will receive you....( 2corinthians 6:17). 

  Not until you come out of the world, the understanding of the kingdom of God and its expressions will always remain hidden to you.

  Base on my standing point in the previous post, that "not until you come out from the influence of the environmental, cultural, societal, political and religious shackles of this world,  you are no where to have a glimpse of what the true expression of the kingdom of God is". You won't get to know the perfect mind of God when you are still under the influence of this world's elements( Romans 12:2).

    It is impossible to embrace the world( all its cares), remain in close relationship with the world and still expect to see God or understand the expressions of the kingdom of God. Because this world is a kingdom on its own too, being managed by the devil on a legal ground. You can't serve two masters.  You rather put priority on one and neglect the other(Matthew 6: 24). And so it is with the understanding of the kingdom of God too. You must be single hearted to see the kingdom of God, its purpose and its expressions aright.

WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD? ( Romans 14:17)

   Apart from our general understanding of the kingdom of God which speaks of the territorial, locational and domain of God( heaven), where every child of God is anticipating to go or enter at the last day, THE KINGDOM OF GOD painstakingly means AN EXPRESSION OF GOD HIMSELF AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS through the Holy Spirit.

  The kingdom of God is the reality OF GOD, the reality IN GOD that had been in existence, that exists now and will still be revealed in the future( Revelation 1:8). It is these realities in/of God that the Holy spirit daily gives expressions to on earth that defines the kingdom of God not just a static structure of a territory but the LIFE of/in God. The kingdom of is meant to be experienced. The kingdom of God is actually the expressions of the LIFE of God and all the activities of God upon the earth and upon MEN.  This expression of God's life and activities are being achieved or carried out through the help of the HOLY SPIRIT on earth and in the lives of MEN.

   The kingdom of God speaks of the life of God; language, culture, government and His constitution, citizenship etc. These aforementioned about God and His government are made manifest or expressed on earth and on men through the HOLY SPIRIT. The concept of the kingdom of God is best understood as God making known His life, language, culture, way of running His government, constitutions and His WILL on earth by men through the help of the Holy Spirit( 1 peter 2:9).

    The accurate concept of the kingdom of God is, God bringing into alignment His system of government and life in heaven with that of earth; making His activities and life in heaven replicated simultaneously here on earth as it is going on in heaven( Luke 11:2). That is, God giving expressions to His life and the totality of His activities in heaven interchangeably with men as they daily live their lives on earth. It means God having expression in the affairs of men( Daniel 4:17).

Luke 11:2 says;
So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

   In a broad light, the kingdom of God is  the WILL of God having expressions on earth just as it is being done in heaven.  The kingdom of God is a state where what is being done in heaven by the heavenly hosts of God is being played out here on earth by the hosts of men in a like manner just as it is going on in heaven( doing the will of God o earth ).   

 

   The kingdom of God is a state of alignment of heaven's programmes and it activities with that of earth's simultaneously. Duplicating the programme going on in heaven hand-in-hand with that of the earth, with the purpose of making God evident on earth( Genesis 28: 12. John 5:19)

   When we start to see the primary understanding of the kingdom of God as this; as God paving ways to find expressions on earth through men rather than men going about with their own activities and church programmes to qualify them to enter into the kingdom of God at the last day, then, the agenda and programme of God for humanity on earth will become clearer.

    This understanding should really drive everyone to ask if they have been individually operating in/with the kingdom of God?  And also at large, it is pertinent through this understanding that we can evaluate which church(s) has/have been operating  for the kingdom of God or they are just going about with their own programmes under the name of "doing the work of the kingdom"? 

  The transformation the world and individual needs on earth can only come to reality when we allow God give expressions in our day to day activities. And that defines the coming of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. It is ONLY the system of God's government that can give the world PEACE, JOY, RIGHTEOUSNESS on earth. And that God's government is the KINGDOM OF GOD in expression

A CHALLENGE TO RISE AND ALIGN
  This is a challenge to all the church of God and every individual to evaluate their lives and see if their daily activities and programmes are in alignment with what the hosts of heaven is doing above daily( John 5:19).  Each day, when our activities, individually and even the church of God do not align, or synchronise, and tally with that of heaven, we are not different from the WORKER OF INIQUITIES......(Mathew 7:21-23). 

  

  It does not matter how much programmes are being executed on earth that carry the name of Jesus Christ, if the hosts of heaven is not carrying out the same thing in heaven it has nothing to do with the work of the kingdom, but rather works borne out of the passion of the flesh. I pray you will not be cast away in the last day in heaven.

 THE KINGDOM OF GOD( Part 1)

Ref: For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.(Romans 14:17).

 "who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins....(Mathew 9:16 -17).

  There are numbers of things happening around us today that this Scripture above perfectly give a picture of them. Even though, the world at large is daily changing and advancing with new trends of civilisation across every human endeavours; making things appear outdated day after day. The truth is that this change and transformation going on did not set the Body of Christ out. The reality of God is surfacing day after day. The dynamic nature and newness of God keeps unfolding afresh every day by day to those who press in; leaving many people behind in that state of still holding on to the dregs of the old wine. As people press in everyday, they discover the true REALITY of what the KINGDOM of God is really is. For I see that the understanding and reality of the kingdom of God is not yet dawn in the Body of Christ as it is expected. Many today in the of church of God are still holding on to the old wine skin understanding  of the kingdom of God.

   Every time I read this scriptures above, I see a perfect picture of the state of many people's understanding and perception of the kingdom of God at play in the church of God.  I see many trying to patch new cloth with old clothing; trying to use old season of God operations and understanding to try to operate in the new. I have come to discover something intriguing; the truth about the kingdom of God may remain veiled to many who are in the church of God without them having a glimpse of the reality of being born again into God's kingdom . In fact, you may be a christian and never see or come to the understanding, reality and manifestation of the kingdom of God in your life. I discovered we really need the mercy of God individually to see that the kingdom of God is in manifestation now rather than waiting for it in the future.

  One of the old wine skin's understanding hunting the church of God is that  "the kingdom of God is a reality meant to be experience in the future".  Many believed it is an experience of the future. That is the biggest understanding the devil had rubbed many of.  The devil has blinded and veiled many heart and mind through religion( no matter your denominations) to keep waiting for the kingdom of God, when the kingdom is already manifesting or at work on earth. The future experience of the kingdom of God is the consummation of the reality of God to us( last day in heaven), 

 while the present understanding of the kingdom of God gives us the privilege to explore the reality of God while we are still here on earth. It gives us the privilege to  acquire God here on earth rather than waiting to go and know God in heaven. Yes! Acquire, because God is expected to be the portion we are to inherit on earth, not just earthly possession alone.  This is one of the biggest veils the devil has cast up the church of God, lest they know the truth and be set free. And this veil had gained more grounds  upon the church and individuals through the environmental, societal, cultural, political and religious influences that people settle for, since they find it difficult to perceive God aright.

    Out of experience, I have come to understand and agree with this fact that, when it comes to God and matters revolving around him, we need mercy to see aright and truly understand Him. If not, we will always see from the contrary; using other means outside of God to justify notion about God and matters about Him. Without God's mercy( God's help) things about Him will always remain veiled. And every time people are veiled from God's reality and truth, they become limited in perceptions.

  One of the common things that happens when people are limited of the right perception of God and His truth is to settle for environmental, cultural, societal, political and religious influence as a means to reach conclusion about God and His matters. They will start to perceive and judge things of God through these influences. And this is exactly what is happening in the Church of God today. 

  The understanding of many people have being limited and veiled, especially in the matters of the kingdom of God. They have been  limited to use environmental, cultural, societal, political and religious influences to try to define and understand the kingdom of God. They have been limited to  use these influences as yardsticks for running the church of God thinking they are into the work of the kingdom of God, especially for those who are void of the true understanding of kingdom of God. 

  It will surprise many at the last when they will find out that they have not been doing the work of the kingdom but the work for their bellies and hidden motives sponsored by the devil.  "...not those who call me Lord, Lord will enter into the kingdom of God but THOSE WHO DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER( Mathew 7:21). 

 
    What means have you been limited to, to try to perceive God and the understand His kingdom? Have you settled for the world influences as mentioned above to try to perceive God and His kingdom?   Without having the true understanding of what the kingdom of God means, its purpose and focus, we are individually bound to work out INIQUITIES thinking we are working for God and His kingdom. THE HIDDEN SECRET BEHIND VOICE OR WORD

1corinthians 14:10
There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification

   There is more to human voice(s) than just mere sound or articulation of words. A Sound or a word is an expression of what a voice is saying. And behind a voice is always an intention. And behind this voice, there is always a hidden entity having an intention to be passed across through a speaker's voice. Although, many people may not call this to mind that, there is a hidden entity behind their voices, in whom they daily represent unconsciously as they speak.

    We all know that voices and words come out of our diaphragms, but there is more to the contraction of the lungs to just produce sounds. There is more to the anatomic analysis of where voice and word come from. Our diaphragms, larynx, down to the tongue are just organs for this hidden entity to pass across his intention through people's mouths. Most times we just know that we open our mouths without knowing where the voice and words are proceeding from. We just talk without knowing where they are coming from( Job 38:2). 

  Have you ever thought about this? It is just more than a voice or a word coming out of your belly. Your belly could just be a store house of voice or words, but a hidden entity is involved or connected to every stored word or voice inside of you. It is this hidden entity that monitors and influences what kind of impact and the effect your voice and your word has on people and also, the impact and effect other people's voice and word have upon your life. For there is no voice or word produced by a human being without an intention behind it, being backed up by this hidden entity. Every word or voice spoken to you somehow has a purpose it is meant to achieve

THE ENTITY BEHIND VOICE OR WORD

   Every human voice or word has an intention and effect that is expected to be achieved upon those who hear or listen to them. There have been many voices and words surrounding us; many have shaped us and many have ruined us and they will still continue to as long as the earth remains. But to identify the hidden entity and his intention behind every voice or word we encounter daily has been the main issue. 

   There are more to or behind the voice and word of people and things we hear daily. Every voice  or word has a source it proceeds from; a supreme hidden entity. This is the supreme entity that channel his own voice or word and intention through the voice of people and other forms of voices that speak to us daily. And they always leaves us with an effect as we encounter them daily, even if we are not sensitive to this.

    But to identify this hidden entity behind people's voice or word when they speak to us is what should really matter to us. Because that is the MAIN VOICE that every human voice and other voices project. There are two supreme hidden entities behind every human voice we hear and encounter daily: the VOICE OF GOD and the VOICE OF THE DEVIL. They are the two main voices that hide behind every human voice to achieve an intention; to build or ruin lives, to bring to salvation or destruction

OPERATIONS OF THESE HIDDEN ENTITIES BEHIND VOICE OR WORD

      Voices and words have great influence and effect on human lives. No matter how simple a voice or word spoken to you by people may appear, it is meant to either edify or disorganise your emotions. And the edifying effect are  influenced by God while the voice that does harm to your emotions are influenced  by the devil through the human voice or word that we encounter daily. 

   But to identify the operations of these two entities behind every human voice or word and others voices we encounter daily has been the issue many have not called to mind, which is very important. Because that is the power that shape or ruin a life and even generations, whether we like it or not. For many lives and generations had become ruined and desolated because of the voice that fed them. Many had gone astray from the path of the truth,desolated from the way of salvation simply because of the human voices or words that they have encountered on daily basis, which keep shaping their lives for salvation or destruction.

THE PURPOSE OF VOICE OR WORD

   We can't deny the fact that every human being get exposed to one kind of voices or the other daily in order to survive. Voices or words build and voices or words also ruin. Voice and word through people have tremendous effects on your lives to determine who and what you become in life and even your eternity.  It is a great tool in the hand of God and devil to shape your destination and achievement of their works upon humanity while we are still on earth. The truth is that, when God wants to do or achieve His work and purpose in a life or generation, He comes as a voice to build the structure for the fulfilment of His work and purpose.

   Paradoxically, and often times, it is human voices that God uses to speak His works and purposes into achievement. But it is now left for people to discern God behind that human voices or words which God might have chosen to speak through. This is because, God desires to hide behind voices or words, often times, human voices, to try the hearts of many, if there will be people who will recognise Him and yield to Him for help and salvation as the case may be.

     Likewise, the devil too works in  like manner( an imitation of God's way of operations). The devil uses the voice or word of human beings and other voices to achieve his own evil purpose too, basically to ruin people's live, to lead them to destruction. And his voice most times comes in disguise and can only be discerned through the help of God's word. His voice or word through people might be difficult to discern. His voice in people's mouth most times sounds sweet like honeycomb and drip smoother than oil, that people may find it difficult to resist it. It pulls and seduces( prov.4:3). His voice even disguise as though, it is of God.  And it is basically to promote and make people become self-dependent of God's help. Desiring not be ruled by God's law and His commandments ( to become lawless). Because they believe it will stop them from living their own life as they want( be deprived of their lustful desires).

  

 So people prefer to hear that voice that sounds sweet to their hearing and not the word of truth. And this sweet- oil-dripping voice had ruined many lives and generations in a disguising way and had led them away from God. Take a stock of your life, what voice or word are you listening to? What voices or words pull or seduce your attention? Who is the entity them?  Do you realise the voices and words you daily listen to can drift you from the path of God? For a life or generation is brought to ruin when they depart from God and embrace their own paths. And this is how many missed the saving path through human voices or words and become desolated

   THE SAVING VOICE OR WORD

   The voice and word of God saves. Ironically, the saving voice of God had through ages, and still now appeared foolish to those who are perishing. There is nothing sweet, attractive, motivating and beautiful to a canal man about the voice of God speaking through men that he should desire it. It is always sounds foolish to him. That is why the devil has packaged his agenda through the sweet- dripping-sugar coated voice to attract and pull people to what they want to hear and not the truth that can save them because it appears or sounds foolish. 

  The Truth most times sounds like foolishness for those who are fools. And the truth sounds like hate to those who hate the truth because they have something they have conditioned their ears to hear. The truth sounds foolish and nonsensical to people most times simply because they have itching ears( looking for what they want to hear and not the truth). And because they love darkness rather than light( John 3:19). Unfortunately, God has chosen to use what seem foolish as the truth to save many from the ruin and desolation the devil had caused them( 1corinthians 1:21).

   So far so good, God is still in that "foolish business"  of preaching the Crucified Christ Jesus through the voice of men to save those who will yield their hearts to that voice that seems foolish to them. That is the only way God had provided for humanity to be free from the deceit of the  devil, to be free from the wickedness of the devil in this world and eternal torment to those who have chosen the path of the devil. There is no other ways shown to man by God that he might follow to get to God than Jesus( John 14:6). There is no other name giving to man  to call upon that he might be saved, except through the name of Jesus(Act 4:12).

  Generations far back had struggled with this truth and the same thing is still playing out here in this generation. For the fact that many people hate to hear that Jesus is the truth, does not mean people who believe in Him are not being saved. I believe many have not understood the need for salvation, that is why they could trivialise the truth about Jesus. You should not wait until you get to hell fire before you believe Jesus is the true way and the truth. You are still alive so you can amend your ways and come to believe in the saving grace. Let him who has ear, hears what the voice of wisdom is saying.

A VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS

   In the time past, before the arrival of Jesus, the messiah, God sent John the Baptist as a voice to Israel to prepare them for salvation. Isaiah spoke of him as a voice crying in the wildness to prepare the way of the Lord and make His path straight( Mathew 3:3), but many still did not yield to the voice of God through John the Baptist. God will always try to reach you with different voices to save you in one point or the other but it has always been an issue on our parts to recognise God and yield to Him through those voices.  

  Many people today are suffering not from physical eyes problem, but because the devil has blinded their hearts and mind not to perceive and even understand the saving voice lest they TURN and be saved.

The voice of wisdom is calling to you here again, harden not your heart to what you want to hear alone but embrace the truth that can save you and get you saved. Embrace Jesus Christ not RELIGION.  For no matter how beautiful, golden-decorated, diamond and silver-decorated your RELIGION may appear in the physical, when you have not asked Jesus to come into your life and forgive you your sins, ALL your efforts without him is still a waste.  Jesus can save you and He will save you. He loves you more than what you can ever imagine. He is waiting for you.

  Therefore, be careful of the voices and word out there that you listen to. Voice and words are not just ordinary, there are hidden agenda behind them.... To save or to ruin life.  Be careful of how and what you hear.

THE REALITY NOW

      

   THE REALITY NOW

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

    The world is becoming more paradoxically pronounced. I mean, having a situation that is made up of two opposite things and that seem impossible but actually true or possible. The world in this end time is reflecting more like a coin, having two sides of pictures; to him who stands at this side sees an image and to him at the other side sees a different picture. 

 

 The world at this period is simultaneously operating a two dimensional realities, although, it had been in occurrence before but not more pronounced as we have it now in this generation. It is with great speed. The speed of the operation of evil and good, light and darkness, righteousness and wickedness, secular and spiritual,  people pressing into God and people pressing into "the devil" simultaneously. 

 The harvest is ripping on both ends; for the children of light and for the children of darkness, for earthly bound people and heavenly conscious people, both growing into a stature in whichever side they individually stand.


   However, the worst thing that can happen to us now as a believer is to become RELIGIOUS. By being religious, i don't mean to be pointing to a specific denominational sect, but we are religious when we don't catch up with God  in His program and agenda for our lives, individually and for the Body of Christ no matter our denominations. When we are not where God is at in the radar, religiosity had crept in into our lives. 

  We become religious when we lose touch with where God expected us to be in His programme. But an unreligious person is he that daily follows the spirit according to God's plan for his life and the Body of Christ( ROM 8:14). There is a simultaneous speed at work today in both God's and devil's agenda. And yielding to this speed, it is either we are busy for the world and unable to catch up with God or catching up with God and thinking we are missing out of the world. The later is better if we find ourselves catching up with God and thinking we are missing out of the world. 

  

 Of course we are in the world but not of this world. Due to this ongoing speed, it will shock and catch many people unaware how the prophecy of God for the close of age will be fulfilled, because they are actually standing in one side of the other coin and can't see the program going on here.

  A lot is going on. Many will some day ask this question, when did all that God said happen?  It is going on, only that you were at the other side of the coin. And that is why it seems as though nothing is happening in the world. It appears as if only evil, wickedness, oppression, corruption, devastating situations that are surrounding us all alone. The devil deliberately cause the increases of these things to weary our hearts and distract us, because he knows the time is near. 

  I believe many people would wonder at times, where is God in the midst of all this? He is right there where He had always been; "for the eyes of the Lord goes to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself  strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to him(2chro16:9). He is there for those who call on Him and are ready to do His will.


    For the fact that the world is getting rotten with corruption does not mean that there are no people who still stay undefiled from corruption.
For the fact that moral values and disciplines are at the low ebb, does not mean that there are no people who are still not morally chaste and disciplined.
For the fact that there are social decadency,deeply and grossly eating people up into promiscuity and all for forms of immoralities and crimes does not mean that there are no people who are not moved by them, but rather choose to value God above the great Influences that have become trends, which many people chase after today as a way of life.

  For the fact many are  complaining that things are hard does not mean that there is no people who are going through the worst and still stay faithful to God without compromising or complaining.
For the fact that the government are not up to the task to fulfil their responsibilities as it is expected of them to their citizens does not mean people have stopped doing good to the poor or does it stop God from being faithful to the world. This is the paradox of the world we are in now. The two situations are going on side by side. The two are going on simultaneously.

   Notwithstanding, the devil orchestrates all these to distract and weary our hearts from believing God's goodness for humanity. The truth is, God had not stop doing good everyday.  If you find it hard to believe the reality of the good works of God on earth, then, it is time to adjust and go the right place to see clearly from the other side of the coin. Then, you will know God is good all the time.


     The kingdom of God is vastly advancing, not in the amount of churches we see out there but in the heart of men. God has become more closer to humanity than ever before.  Since Jesus paved the way at the calvary, people had been trooping into the reality of the kingdom of God and they are entering it with passion( violent), Mathew 11:12. By kingdom of God, I don't just mean the activities of the church, but God Himself happening to people, individually in their heart. People are getting transformed inwardly out there. 

  

This is the time when we can't just judge a book by its cover. I mean, this is the time when we can't by appearance or mode of uniform conduct judge people's relationship with God. You will utterly be disappointed by your evaluation of their stand with God. God is happening to people right in their heart and they are getting into personal relationship with God. God's lovers are increasing on daily bases. People are getting immersed in encounter with God. The last are becoming first, while the first are becoming the  last. John 4: 20,21 & 24 of the Samaritan woman meeting with Jesus at the well is becoming a realty now. It is not "the mountain of my church" that house all of God now, God is diffusing himself to people who worship Him in spirit and in truth, who need Him sincerely and know His value in their lives.

   We must wake up from thinking that, it is only "our bottle" that house the true picture of God while others can't know God except they come to us. Our understanding of the kingdom of God must change from the denominational-old-wineskin we have known. For the kingdom of God is not food and meat( just mere activities of the church), but it is RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, JOY in the Holy Ghost

  We must come to understand the kingdom of God from this perspective and not just the activities of the church or waiting to go to heaven. That is when we will understand the prayer of Jesus to his disciples, when He said " your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven".


  I only want to charge and exhort  us to wake up from our slumbering. Our salvation is near than we first believed ( Rom13:11). Let us take our eyes off the distractions of the world and embrace Christ the more.  

   If you have not known him, give your life to him and save yourself from the evil day ahead. It is a choice for your eternity. God will help us as we will through this page meet with God, be enlightened and get our heart ready to match with heavenly army going ahead of us...
